I took some liberties and it was a lot of fun! I really should do this more often...

Sooo I went to Germany for New Year... saw snow for the first time, skied, went down a mountain in Austria with a sledge... and I'm still alive, yay! :)
Tomorrow I'm back in Gobelins, soon I'll have lots of stuff to post here. But for the moment, some snow!

Another speed painting, 1h, based on a photograph that I've found on the facebook page "Médicos sem Fronteiras" (Doctors Without Borders). There were no credits in the picture, though, so I don't know who's the photographer...

A 1h30 speed painting based on a pic by a friend (Marcia Trento)! And two WIPs of it. The best thing about working digitally is that I don't have to scan the image... I guess I'm getting lazy.

This is an animation test that I did during my internship at La Cachette for the short movie Les Matelots. The character was designed by Julien Chheng, and since this is just a test, this is not the final design or rendering of the character/movie. It was really nice animating it though :)

Artemis

Another one for 4forFan, the theme was greek gods/goddesses. 

Artemis is the goddess of hunt, animals and wilderness; she is usually portrayed as a young girl in hunting clothing. I wanted to add to her design by making her doe eyed and with a bow made of stag horns, since the deer was her favorite animal.

I did this for the 4forFan group on facebook, the theme of the week was Samurai!
And I can't believe it...I finished it 30 minutes ago and I don't like it already. It usually takes 1 week... too bad :P

Mico Leão Dourado

I asked at my internship and for the moment I can't post anything. TOP SECRET stuff hahaha maybe in January... guess I have the obligation to keep working on personal stuff so this place won't be abandoned. Oh my, what a problem.

I saw this kid one day at the subway, coming back home from Gobelins. She wasn't torturing any poor cat, but she did have a bee backpack! Just lovely :)

DIsney Art Challenge

And the Disney Art Challenge is done! Now we are allowed to publish our drawings. I wasn't among the 17 chosen, but it was nice to participate on it. I don't really like my illustration anymore, but I'm always like that with my drawings... I'm used to it.
