Live Model

Hey, it's been a while now. I finished my portfolio/demo reel and right now I'm working on the Annecy opening short! So all my work that is not Gobelins-related is kind of a mess/forgotten...and I'm not allowed to post anything related to Gobelins now, so it's complicated. :)

That's why I decided to scan some live model! Yay!

Cabo Polonio, Uruguay

hehe I haven't been in Uruguay, but a friend posted some really inspiring pics and I could not help it :)

I took some liberties and it was a lot of fun! I really should do this more often...

Happy New Year! Gutes Neues! Feliz Ano Novo! Bonne année! :)

Sooo I went to Germany for New Year... saw snow for the first time, skied, went down a mountain in Austria with a sledge... and I'm still alive, yay! :)
Tomorrow I'm back in Gobelins, soon I'll have lots of stuff to post here. But for the moment, some snow!

Chapelle Saint-Charles

I went to a concert last month :)

It was really good, and I realised how much I miss classical music...well, music in general. I have no time for any other activities besides Gobelins, and I wouldn't like to feel like I'm not doing everything I can at school now. I guess music will have to wait a little bit longer.

The musicians were Labros Caravassilis (flute), Thibault Noally, Alexandrine Caravassilis (violins) and Lika Laloum (viola)

MSF

Another speed painting, 1h, based on a photograph that I've found on the facebook page "Médicos sem Fronteiras" (Doctors Without Borders). There were no credits in the picture, though, so I don't know who's the photographer...

Speed painting

A 1h30 speed painting based on a pic by a friend (Marcia Trento)! And two WIPs of it. The best thing about working digitally is that I don't have to scan the image... I guess I'm getting lazy.

Frankfurt Hotel/News

I started my internship at La Cachette, that's why I haven't been posting my drawings these last days...I have a lot of new stuff, but I don't know if I'm allowed to show them, gotta check that at the studio :)
Aaaand I'm back working in an "old" (2012) animation project, I'm really happy with it! I'm rewriting the script, character design...I'll storyboard it today. Hope it gets better than the previous version...

Copa do mundo: Brasil x Holanda

Soooo since it was pretty clear that Brazil wasn't gonna win this match against Netherlands (I didn't think it would be so different after the last Brazil x Germany), I decided that it would be better to just practice my drawing!

(I don't have a scanner and I'm on vacation, so apparently I'll have to survive with pics and bad quality images until september arrives!)

Rendering

A rendering layout exercise :)
